Through her clinical practice and online business, Dr. Marcy is helping women prepare for delivery, reduce pelvic floor trauma and tearing, heal their pelvic floor muscles and body after pregnancy and birth. She is known expert in her field, has been featured in news and media, has experience building clinics and practices, provides mentoring and education to colleagues, and loves her work. Joy Dees , DPT, is the co-founder of Vessel PT and Wellness. Joy, graduated with her DPT in 2020 from Samford University. Following graduation, she began practicing in the Birmingham area in outpatient orthopedics. In 2021, Joy moved to Montgomery and found a passion for pelvic floor rehab. A believer in continual learning, Joy is Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Certified and is Certified in Dry Needling by the AAOMT. Joy currently serves on the Samford Alumni Executive Board, as well as President of the Kensington Foundation . Outside of work, Joy enjoys watching any Auburn athletics, working out, spending time with family, friends and her 3 god-children.
